House District 135 - Jon Rosenthal
Representative Rosenthal has been a strong fighter, advocate and champion for public schools, healthcare and criminal justice reform across the State of Texas. Elected to the 86th Legislature in 2018, Jon continues to advocate for these issues amongst other needs. He brings a unique background to the chamber as being only one of two practicing engineers in the Texas State House of Representatives and the only mechanical engineer serving in the body.
In 2020, he was honored to receive the Freshman of the Year award from the non-partisan Legislative Study Group, the second largest caucus in the Texas State House dedicated to developing mainstream solutions and advancing sound public policy benefitting all Texans.
House District 149 - Hubert Vo
State Representative Hubert Vo represents District 149 in Harris County. District 149 is located in southwest Houston encompassing most of Alief, and parts of West Houston and Katy. He has been part of the Alief community for over 30 years, Hubert Vo currently serves on the Alief Super Neighborhood Council.
In the private sector, Hubert Vo is a successful businessman, real estate developer and entrepreneur in the Houston area. After attending the University of Houston during the daytime and as a machinist in the evenings, Hubert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
House District 132 - Mike Schofield (R)
Mike Schofield serves in the Texas House of Representatives, where he represents Katy and part of Cy-Fair in Harris County. He is in his third term, having represented the district from 2015-2019 and having been elected in November to return to the House. in the 87th Legislative Session, he sponsored a bill requiring public school students to compete in interscholastic athletic competitions based on biological sex.
Previously, he served for 11 years as an advisor to Governor Rick Perry, where he advised the governor on issues ranging from property rights protection and eminent domain to election integrity to protecting Texans from frivolous lawsuits.

Senate District 7 - Paul Bettencourt (R)
First elected to the Senate in 2014, Senator Paul Bettencourt represents Senate District 7, which encompasses most of West Harris County. He previously served 10 years, from 1998 – 2008, as the Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector, where he introduced “Smart Government” at the Harris County Tax Office and developed a customer service-driven organization.
A champion for conservative solutions to Texas’ challenges, Senator Bettencourt has built a strong reputation at the Capitol advocating for taxpayers. In his previous legislative sessions he worked to pass conservative budgets, enact a super-majority requirement within a taxing jurisdiction to raise taxes, as well as author SB 7 which sought to stamp out the growing plague of inappropriate student-educator relationships.
State Senate District 17 - Joan Huffman (R)
After earning her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, Senator Joan Huffman became a secretary for the Harris County District Attorney’s office. She enrolled in night classes at the South Texas College of Law while continuing to work full time to earn her law degree.
Joan was hired as a prosecutor in the Harris County District Attorney's Office, advancing from misdemeanor court to Chief Felony Prosecutor, Special Crimes Gang Prosecutor, and Legal Counsel to the Organized Crime Narcotics Task Force. Senator Huffman earned a reputation as a fair and tough enforcer of the law both as a prosecutor and as a Judge to the 183rd Criminal District Court.
Senator Huffman was first elected to the Texas Senate in 2008 and has been re-elected four times. In 2021, she Increased border security funding to build a wall and passed legislation to "stop critical race theory" in Texas schools that "distorts our American history and seeks to pit our children against each other by race".

U.S. House District 8 - Morgan Luttrell (R)
Luttrell, a former Navy SEAL who former President Donald Trump appointed to the Department of Energy, replaces retiring Representative Kevin Brady (R-TX).
In 2009, Luttrell survived a deadly helicopter crash that left him with a broken back and a traumatic brain injury (TBI). He retired from the Navy in 2014 and applied his personal experience to help veterans recover from PTSD and traumatic brain injuries sustained in battle. He was appointed by then Secretary Rick Perry to the DOE to lead the Artificial Intelligence and Technologies Office.
Luttrell believes that the radical left is waging a culture war on Texans way of life. As Congressman, Luttrell's priorities are to fight to finish the Wall, stop radical indoctrination in the classroom, defend from increasing cybersecurity threats, stand with Israel, and protect America from the threat of Russia and China and socialists at home.
U.S. House District 22 - Troy Nehls (R)
Troy Nehls was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2020. In his first week in the U.S. House, Nehls and other members of Congress were seen assisting U.S. Capitol Police in barricading the door to the House floor from protesters during the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol.
On January 7, 2021, Nehls joined 121 other Republican members of Congress in objecting to counting certain electoral votes in the 2020 presidential election. On January 13, 2021, he voted against the second impeachment of President Donald Trump.
After President Joe Biden delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress in April 2021, Nehls approached Biden and said he wanted to work together on criminal justice reform. Biden administration staff subsequently reached out to Nehls's office. On May 25, 2021, Nehls partnered with Representative Val Demings to introduce the Second Chance Opportunity for Re-Entry Education (SCORE) Act, to direct grant funds to county jails for career training programs for non-violent, incarcerated individuals to reduce jail recidivism.

SBOE District 6 - Will Hickman (R)
Will Hickman graduated from Texas A&M as a Mechanical Engineer in 1997. After four years of engineering at Exxon Chemicals, he obtained a Law degree from the University of Houston in 2001. He has worked at Shell Oil for over 15 years in intellectual property law and liquified natural gas transactions in Latin America and the Caribbean. He and his wife Jennifer are actively involved in the Texas public school system, with three children in high, middle and elementary schools in Spring Branch ISD. Will actively supports the schools’ parents, teachers and students in many roles such as the PTA legislative liaison for the elementary and middle schools and in the Dad’s Club and Watch Dog programs.
SBOE District 8 - Audrey Young (R)
Audrey Young is the Director of Student Support Services for Nacogdoches ISD. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctorate of Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Her career includes 27 years in public education, as a speech therapist, reading specialist, middle school administrator and district director. She served on the Board of Trustees for Apple Springs ISD in Trinity County for 6 years. As a Master Trustee, she is on the Executive Board of Leadership for the Texas Association of School Boards Alumni Association (LTASBAA), she served three terms as member of the TASB Legislative Advisory Council (LAC) representing Region 6 and served 2 years on the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Board of Trustees Advisory Committee.
